“Meghan McCain, the political scion who turned a stint as a blogger and TV show host into a role as a contributor at Fox News Channel, is leaving the network,” Variety reports. McCain, the daughter of U.S. Sen. John McCain, has been a co-host on the Fox News afternoon program “Outnumbered.”

In a statement, Fox News said: “Meghan has been a valuable part of ‘Outnumbered’ and the Fox News team. We’re sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best.”

McCain said in a statement: “I’m so thankful to Fox News for the chance to be on ‘Outnumbered,’ but I’m leaving to focus on other things. I have no doubt the show will continue to do well and wish all my friends and colleagues at the network nothing but success.”

  1. Senator John McCain’s daughter?!? She has a name. She is famous in her own right. How offensive.

“Superman’s Amazonian colleague supported the efforts of Allied soldiers in WWII.”

  2. Bye bye, don’t let the door hit your big ass. Every thing she said on Outnumbered began with a statement of her deep experience, when she is too young and inexperienced to be beliveable. Just because daddy is an old politician doesn’t mean you know anything special!
