Fox is doubling down on legal dramas for next season, giving a script commitment with significant penalty to “Being Judged,” from writer Nkechi Carroll, Deadline reports. The project comes from Chernin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox TV, where Carroll has an overall deal.

Written and executive produced by Carroll, the project centers on Josephine Graves, the youngest judge in the country’s history at 27. Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo also executive produce.

Deadline notes that Fox also has legal dramas “Midnight Lawyer” and “Infamy,” both produced by Danny Strong, in the pipeline, along with “One Call That’s All.”
