Actor Terry Crews, one of the stars of the Fox comedy series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” says he was the victim of a sexual assault by a man he described as “a high level Hollywood executive.”

In a series of tweets posted Tuesday by Crews, some of which you can read below, Crews describes the incident he says took place last year at a Hollywood function. The actor starts off the message by saying: “This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD.” He later notes: “Harvey Weinstein is not the only perpetrator.”

Crews says he decided to let the incident go, and explains why in the tweets. He also says he understands why women who are victimized often choose not to take action.

Below are the first tweets in the series posted by Crews, which read chronologically from the bottom up; you can see the reset of the series on Crews’ Twitter account by clicking here

  1. And because Crews doesn’t speak out and name the person, he continues walking around Hollywood grabbing privates and who knows what else.
