With Hollywood almost uniformly aligned against Harvey Weinstein in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations against him, one actress came out in support of the fallen movie mogul.

EW.com reports that Lindsay Lohan posted a video on Instagram defending Weinstein. The video was later deleted.

The report quotes the actress saying in the video, posted late Tuesday: “Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan. Hi. I’m in Dubai. I’m home and I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now.”

In another clip, Lohan references Weinstein’s wife, Georgina Chapman, saying: “I don’t think it’s right what’s going on. I think Georgina needs to take a stand and be there for her husband. He’s never harmed me or did anything to me. We’ve done several movies together. I think everyone needs to stop. I think it’s wrong. So, stand up.”

Chapman announced Tuesday that she’s leaving her husband, saying in a statement published by People magazine: “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”

  1. Sleaze meets sleaze! Just what you’d expect from the queen of sleaze.

  2. still waiting for real physical evidence. anecdotal evidence so far. a torrent of social media trial by mob isn’t enough for me either.
