CNN today announced plans to launch a new one-hour prime-time program focusing on political commentator Van Jones.

The Van Jones Show” is scheduled to launch in January.

“Jones will return to CNN with his unique take on the forces that elected Donald Trump, the anti-Trump ‘resistance’ movement and the future of both major parties,” CNN said in today’s announcement. “The show will build on Jones’ successful town halls throughout 2017, ‘The Messy Truth,’ and will continue to speak directly to voters across the country by exploring the raw, emotional policy debates and culture wars taking place in America.”

CNN also announced that it has greenlighted a new CNN Original Series in collaboration with the production company Citizen Jones, to be hosted by Van Jones. “The series focuses on reconciliation, hope and redemption within the criminal justice system,” CNN said.

  1. Another liberal commentator on “news” channel CNN, how shocking.

  2. What qualifies or makes Mr Jones a person we must listen to? He’s and expert of what? I asked myself that question when I read this blurb and what I found in my search explains everything. This new show will just be a vehicle to progress (sell) a specific political and social agenda.

  3. And what exactly qualifies Donald Trump to be President or a person we must listen to? I ask myself that question every day and what I find in my daily search also explains everything.

  4. It has been a year. It is time to drop all of the personal crap and focus on the real issues taxation, regulations, judicial nominees, immigration and others. We are falling into Trumps trap. He wants us to focus on his Twitter nonsense and not pay attention to what is really going on in Washington. He has the press and Congress so focused on him and the tweets, that he is doing whatever he wants in DC.
