HBO is distancing itself from Louis C.K. in the wake of a New York Times story today in which five women accuse the comedian of sexual improprieties.
“Louis C.K. will no longer be participating in the ‘Night of Too Many Stars: America Unites for Autism Programs,’ which will be presented live on HBO on November 18,” the company said in a statement released today. “In addition, HBO is removing Louis C.K.’s past projects from its On Demand services.”
HBO has reportedly been pulling past Louis C.K. programs, such as his “Lucky Louie” series and his stand-up comedy specials, from its website.
