Longtime Louis C.K. collaborator Pamela Adlon, who stars in and executive produces the FX series “Better Things,” has parted ways with her manager, 3 Arts Entertainment’s Dave Becky, Deadline reports. The move comes amid a sexual misconduct scandal surrounding C.K., who was also managed by Becky until 3 Arts severed ties with C.K. late last week.
Adlon co-created “Better Things” with C.K., part of a longtime collaboration between the two that has included co-starring with C.K. on his old HBO series “Lucky Louie.” Adlon was also a writer and producer, as well as a recurring cast member, on C.K.’s acclaimed FX series “Louie.”
Adlon reportedly dropped Becky over the weekend.
Adlon released a statement saying she and her family were “devastated and in shock after the admission of abhorrent behavior by my friend and partner, Louis C.K.” She added that she felt “deep sorrow and empathy for the women who have come forward.”
Becky, whose client list also includes Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari and Amy Poehler, has apologized for his role in C.K.’s alleged improprieties.
