Netflix now has a roadmap in place to get its hit drama series “House of Cards” back in production without Kevin Spacey, who was fired from the series amid allegations of sexual misconduct.

CNN cites a source saying production on the show’s eight-episode sixth season will resume in early 2018. It was previously announced that season six would be the show’s last.

Production on the show was halted about two weeks into filming for the upcoming season.

“‘House of Cards’ writers have been racing against the clock to find a new direction for the final season in light of Spacey’s absence,” CNN notes.
