Justin Timberlake shot down a few rumors about his upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance, and he offered one concrete detail — but only one. People reports that Timberlake confirmed he will perform his Oscar-nominated hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
He then added: “That’s all I am giving away! I’m not giving away anything else, so don’t even try it.”
Much of the time during his press conference today in Minneapolis was spent shooting down rumors about special guests. Timberlake quashed rumors about everything from a reunion with Janet Jackson — his partner in the infamous “wardrobe malfunction” incident in 2004 — to an ‘NSync reunion to walk-ons by Jay-Z or Chris Stapleton.
Timberlake teased with a comment that he’s “doing a few things with this halftime show they’ve never quite done before.” He also said he wants his band, the Tennessee Kids, to get some time in the spotlight.
“I feel like they’re my special guests and I’m excited to rock the stage,” Timberlake said.
