The president and chief executive of national advertising sales, marketing and tech firm NCC Media has announced plans to retire. Greg Schaefer will step down effective Dec. 31, 2018, the company announced this week.
Schaefer has been president and CEO since 2009 after joining the company in 2002. He began with NCC Media as chief operating officer before being elevated to president in 2004.
“It has been a fantastic 16-year run,” Schaefer said. “I’m extremely proud of the business and culture we’ve built. What was called, sometimes a bit dismissively, ‘Spot Cable’ back then is now a powerful, multi-platform video advertising behemoth, and we’ve created something that I know will grow and prosper for years to come.”
