Mister Rogers Gets a Stamp

The U.S. Postal Service has dedicated a Forever Stamp to the late Fred Rogers, known for his long-running children’s TV series “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.”

The stamp was dedicated today at the WQED Fred Rogers Studio in Pittsburgh where the show began. Additionally, the Pittsburgh International Airport was honoring Rogers today with a number of activities, including having employees wear red cardigan sweaters and inviting travelers to share their memories of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” on a chalkboard outside the terminal.
