A recently announced renewal by ABC means that the longest-running prime-time drama of all time on the network will be “Grey’s Anatomy.”

The medical drama, which is the network’s No. 1 drama in the key demo of adults 18-49, was picked up for a 15th season. ABC noted that only seven drama series in the history of television have had more seasons.
