OWN just announced two new series from a producer who has been a prolific hit-maker. The shows come from Will Packer (“Girls Trip,” “Straight Outta Compton,” “Ride Along,” “Roots”) and his Will Packer Media banner.

Packer is under a first-look deal with the network.

The new projects are the soapy drama series “Ambitions” from Lionsgate and the unscripted dating series “Ready to Love.” Packer will executive produce both series.
