Law & Order

Law. Order. Renewed.

No surprise, but it looks as if NBC has made it official and greenlit another round of "Law & Order." Representatives for the network couldn't be reached, but industry insiders say it's a done deal.

With "Chuck" back for another season, the only two question marks on NBC are "My Name is Earl" and "Medium." Neither show has been considered likely to return.

UPDATE: Hearing NBC has ordered 16 episodes.

Why do you say that Medium has never been considered likely to return? For months, everyone has been saying that it was sure to return. And it was reportedly renewed weeks ago, until the negotiations over episodes and licensing fees hit a wall.
Everyone has said all along that Medium was a sure bet to be back next season, at least until this latest impasse. Even some set insiders have told me that they were sure it was coming back.

I just hope that a deal is reached soon, or that CBS does the smart thing and picks it up themselves. It would probably do better on CBS anyway, and would get better treatment than it has at NBC.
