Big TV Contingent Headed to Comic-Con

Television stars and TV shows will be featured prominently at the Comic-Con convention, the sci-fi and fantasy-focused event that spotlights comic books and science-fiction and fantasy books along with TV and film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Scheduled to run from July 21-25 in San Diego, Comic-Con is attracting networks including Starz and HBO and studios such as 20th Television.

"Game of Thrones," now an HBO show based on the books by George R.R. Martin, will feature Martin along with the show’s writers and actors, while HBO’s "True Blood" will bring stars such as Anna Paquin and the show’s creator Alan Ball.

Other shows that will be featured include MTV’s "Teen Wolf," Fox’s "Terra Nova," Starz’ "Torchwood: Miracle Day" and animated shows including Fox’s "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons."
