Conan O’Brien’s band leader Max Weinberg will move to Los Angeles when O’Brien takes over the “Tonight” show, the New York Post reports. Although he had been reluctant to move because he didn’t want to miss any performances in his longtime job with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Weinberg has decided to send his 19-year-old son, also a drummer, in his place on Springsteen’s summer tour, the tabloid says.
