‘Bones’ Picked up for Second Broadcast Syndication Cycle

Twentieth Television has sold its drama "Bones" for a second cycle in weekend broadcast syndication, B&C reports.

The show has been picked up on Fox, Tribune, Local TV and Sinclair stations through the 2012-13 season, meaning that the hour-long program starring Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz will be seen on more than 85 television stations representing more than 70% of the U.S.

The show, which has aired on Fox for five seasons, also airs on TNT, which bought the rights to the show in 2008 and began airing it in 2009.
