NBC Will Premiere Six New Comedies and Six New Dramas for the 2011-2012 Season

NBC will introduce 12 new shows for the 2011-2012 season, split evenly between comedies and dramas, the network has announced.

The comedies are “Up All Night,” “Whitney,” “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea,” “Free Agents,” “Best Friends Forever” and “Bent.”

The new dramas are “Smash,” “Prime Suspect,” “The Playboy Club,” “Awake,” “Grimm” and “The Firm.”

Shows returning to NBC are “The Biggest Loser,” “The Celebrity Apprentice,” (with or without Donald Trump), “Chuck” (a final season of 13 episodes), “Community,” “Dateline NBC,” “Harry’s Law,” "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “The Office,” “Parenthood,” “Parks and Recreation,” “The Sing-Off,” “30 Rock,” and “The Voice.”
