A “House” actress who failed to come to terms on a new contract to remain on the Fox medical drama has a new role on CBS’s “The Good Wife,” reports TVLine.com.

Lisa Edelstein, who played Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the Fox hit, will take on a recurring role on "The Good Wife," the story says.

Edelstein’s character on "The Good Wife" is believed to be an attorney who turns up early in the drama’s third season and who has shared a past with Will, played by Josh Charles, the story notes.

  1. This is terrific news! “House’s” loss of Lisa Edelstein, a strong actor and devoted supporter of the show, is definitely “Good Wife’s” gain. I wish Lisa every success going forward.

  2. House is not a home w/o Cuddy. Put this House up for sale!
