MyNetworkTV announced Monday that it has signed an affiliation agreement with ShootingStar Broadcasting for WZMY-TV, which serves Boston (the fifth-largest TV market in the country). The independent station, which went by the call letters WNDS-TV, already is known as MyTV.

The affiliation deal puts at 94 percent of the United States the clearances for MyNetworkTV, which was created by Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television. The network will launch Sept. 5 with telenovelas running at 8 p.m. (ET) and 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, with a weekly recap airing Saturdays.
