Twentieth Television has opted not to renew “Cristina’s Court” for a fourth season.
It’s the second syndicated show in Twentieth’s stable to fail the renewal test in recent months. In December, word went out that “The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet” wouldn’t be returning.
Original episodes of “Cristina” will air until September.
“We would like to thank Cristina Perez as well as executive producer Peter Brennan, Lisa Lew and the entire staff for producing this high-quality, Emmy Award-winning television court program,” Bob Cook, Twentieth Television’s president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. “Cristina, a respected leader in the community, oversaw her television courtroom with dignity, pride and a great sense of humor, and for that we are deeply grateful.”
“Cristina’s Court” won the first Emmy Award for daytime court programming in 2008. The program drew a 1.1 household rating in during the most recent week of syndication ratings.
