NBC has given a full-season order to a freshman drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed. The network expanded its order for "Chicago Fire."

The drama starring Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer was the first new drama of the 2012-13 season to beat its premiere rating among viewers 18 to 49, the story notes. The most recent episode was helped by a lead-in from "The Voice," since “Fire” usually airs after "Law & Order: SVU," the story notes. “The Voice” was moved to Wednesday night because of the presidential election.

The show joins "The New Normal," "Revolution" and "Go On" in receiving full-season orders from NBC.
