Hit Reality Series Gets Seventh Season on truTV

truTV has renewed its flagship reality show for a seventh season. Deadline.com reports that the cable network signed on for more "Hardcore Pawn."

The series focuses on the family-owned pawn shop American Jewelry and Loan in Detroit. Its premiere in August 2010 delivered a record audience of 2 million viewers to truTV.

The show has spawned two spinoffs: “Combat Pawn,” based at a gun shop near Fort Bragg in North Carolina, and “Hardcore Pawn: Chicago.”

In its current sixth season, "Hardcore Pawn" has averaged 2.6 million viewers, up 11% from season five.
