A truce appears to have been declared in the dispute between Discovery Channel and one of its popular reality hosts. Deadline.com reports that the channel is welcoming back former “Man vs. Wild” host Bear Grylls.

Grylls left the channel last year in a programming disagreement, the report notes. “Discovery Networks International says the survival expert will return to the overseas fold with new series, ‘Bear Grylls: Ultimate Survivors,’” Deadline adds. “The six-part hourlong show will air on the Discovery Channel in 217 international markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.”

The new series, which is not set to air in the U.S., focuses on ordinary people who have become stranded in difficult situations, with Grylls then putting himself in similar circumstances.

Grylls said he is "super excited to be working with Discovery again," Deadline notes.
