Will Ferrell’s impression of George W. Bush was a regular feature on “Saturday Night Live” a few years back, but now Ferrell has his sights set on another U.S. President: Ronald Reagan.

Variety reports that Ferrell is attached to star in the title role in the Black List comedy project “Reagan.”

“Penned by Mike Rosolio, the story begins at the start of the ex-president’s second term when he falls into dementia and an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the commander in chief that he is an actor playing the president in a movie,” Variety reports. “The script was so popular following its announcement on the Black List, an annual catalog of the top unproduced scripts in Hollywood, that a live read was … done in March starring Lena Dunham and John Cho.”

Ferrell is also on board as a producer, with the project to be shopped to studios.
