Actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly has a reality show in the works, and it’s patterned after the show “Vanderpump Rules,” a “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” spinoff.
That’s one of the nuggets in an interview with Lohan by Gabrielle Bluestone, published by The New York Times. Lohan is focused on the Lohan Beach House, her club on the Greek island of Mykonos, which would be at the center of the MTV reality show.
Decider notes that “Vanderpump Rules” is ostensibly about Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR, “but it’s really about its star.”
“It seems likely that Lohan Beach House would take the place of SUR in this hypothetical show,” Decider adds. “But it still seems odd that Lohan would reference a reality show that so heavily relies on its celebrity founder. Not only does the Times piece note that Lohan has become a bit more camera shy and private in recent years, but Lohan’s experiences with the world of reality TV have historically been reclusive.”
The report notes that Lohan “barely appeared in her family’s reality show, ‘Living Lohan.'”
