Michael Moore Says It’s Gwen Stefani’s Fault That Trump Ran for President

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore revealed an unusual theory about why Donald Trump decided to run for president, telling The Hollywood Reporter that he thinks the decision was prompted by Gwen Stefani.

“Moore posits that when Trump realized Stefani’s performance fees as a coach on ‘The Voice’ were larger than his own on ‘The Apprentice,’ he staged his now-infamous Trump Tower campaign announcement to prove his popularity to NBC, which aired both shows,” THR reports.

Moore discussed his theory during an in-depth interview he gave in part to promote his new Trump movie, “Fahrenheit 11/9.” The movie kicks off the Toronto International Film Festival this Thursday, Sept. 6.

“He’d been talking about running for president since 1988, but he didn’t really want to be president,” Moore told THR. “There’s no penthouse in the White House. And he doesn’t want to live in a black city. He was trying to pit NBC against another network, but it just went off the rails.”

THR sums up the rest of Moore’s theory this way: “After Trump’s accusation that Mexico was sending rapists across the border, NBC cut ties with him. But Trump, suddenly finding himself cheered on by massive crowds and an indulgent media, figured why not make a serious run for the highest office in the land?”

    • It’s ironic to see a Trump supporter referring to someone else as a “fat ignorant slob”. Have you taken a good look at your man in the White House?
In any event, Michael Moore’s guess is as good as anyone else’s — and it is plausible in the sense that Trump seems to be that small and petty.

  2. DEB = Dumb Erratic Bimbo …

  3. Wonder what a psychiatrist would say about the mentality of a person that would call another person names just because they didn’t agree with them? I understand that name calling is a tactic some people have to resort to when they don’t have anything intelligent to say. Deb does know something about MM. He is fat and is a slob but he is not ignorant. Lo, on the other hand, knows nothing about Deb. Deb could even be a boy with the “De” being David Edward or Donald Einstein, the “B” being the last name. So Lo, who knows nothing about Deb, thinks he can say something negative about Deb yet he may be trying to insult a male. Or could “Lo” really be a Fat Ignorant Slob himself and he feels threatened when people, like himself, are called out for what they are. Or “Lo” could even be a suave, handsome guy that wants to protect the image of a Fat Intelligent Slob. We will never know the truth. Another interesting dynamic of playing mind games on social media

  4. its people like DEB who are steering this country into the toilet (via their blind stupidity and support of the biggest crook in history to be in the White House … who makes Nixon look like a saint in comparison) — so, this “B” word who calls Moore a slob is herself … a slob … Moore at least has been hugely successful in getting tons of people to watch his noteworthy documentaries … which is really hard to do …
