Haunted House Offers $20,000 Prize to Anyone Who Can Complete the Experience — But Nobody Has

Oct 23, 2019  •  Post A Comment

One haunted house seems more hard-core than most, requiring that participants sign a 40-page waiver, create a safe word and receive a full physical before beginning the ordeal. The attraction also offers a $20,000 prize to anyone who can complete the experience.

So far, nobody has completed it.

The haunted house is McKamey Manor in Summertown, Tenn. Also among the requirements, participants have to start by watching an almost two-hour movie — you can see it by clicking here — that the organizers say showcases every contestant who has ever attempted to complete the ordeal, from July 7, 2017, to Aug. 3, 2019.

“Legally, anyone desiring to participate in the MM experience called ‘DESOLATION,’ must watch this entire movie for their safety, and for the Manors,” the organizers say in a blurb posted with the movie. “This movie will explain in great detail what the Manor actual is, and what it is not. Forget the crazy stories, this film will tell the truth to everyone including all future guest. Those partaking in the tour must clearly understand what will happen to each and every one of them.”

The organizers add: “MCKAMEY MANOR will without a doubt, eat your lunch, and take your milk money. You will not defeat the Manor in any way shape or form. The best you can hope for is to personally challenge yourself to see just how long you might last before you say those magical words of ‘I Quit.’ Remember, ‘You Really Don’t Want To Do This.'”

Here’s a short clip about the attraction, posted by WSB-TV …

  1. This is not new, and used to be based out of San Diego. There is a lot of controversy over this that might be worth sharing.

  2. I’ll take that challenge for sure. IF it has scary sounds and things moving. Bring it on, I won’t hear a thing and I’ll sure to sleep like a baby.
