Ex-Lakers Basketball Star Rick Fox Moves into ‘Melrose Place’ TV Guide
Rick Fox will join the cast of the CW's “Melrose Place,” TV Guide reports.
The former Los Angeles Laker has recently appeared on “The Game,” “One Tree Hill” and “Ugly Betty.”

Rick Fox played for the Celtics from 91-97, then with the Lakers from 97-04 winning 3 championships. So both above posts are correct. I can't think of anyone else who's made the bridge from the NBA to acting, other than the Jordan novelty Space Jam movie, and Shaq's adverture cartoon (he's doing well in reality TV.) Rick Fox is a quality talent.
