Fox's 'Fringe' Scores in Thursday Ratings Race THR

The mix of reruns and new episodes gave Fox's "Fringe" a boost in the Nielsen ratings Thursday night, with the sci-fi series netting a 2.5 in the 18-to-49-year-old  demo at 9 p.m., behind ABC's "Private Practice's" 3.1 and NBC's "The Office" at 4.1, but the best score for "Fringe" since the season debut, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

At 8 p.m. CBS won, with "Survivor" pulling a 3.9 in the demo, besting Fox's "Bones" at 2.9, NBC's "Community" and "Parks and Recreation" at 2.2 and 2.1, respectively, and ABC's last "FlashForward" til March. The latter scratched up only a 2.2.

At 10 p.m., the second hour of "Private Practice" increased to a 3.4, easily beating reruns on CBS and NBC.
