NBC Has Lots of Olympic Viewers but by Some Measures They’re Not That Attractive THR

NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage is drawing large numbers of viewers, but if they had been sold on a demo basis, advertisers wouldn’t have been so happy, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The games, Nielsen numbers show, are skewing older, with viewership among the 55-plus crowd some 82 percent higher than the national average. Luckily for NBC, the games are sold on a household basis, not demos.
