Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were among the 140 performers to fire off a single tweet on stage on March 12 in order to raise funds for the Artists for Peace and Justice’s initiative to build schools in Haiti.
The event, "A Night of 140 Tweets," is available for download on iTunes and as a DVD via Amazon.com. Proceeds go to help build schools in Haiti. Performers each took the stage to offer up their favorite signature tweet at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in Los Angeles.
"On a remote island vacationing," Stiller said, reading his favorite tweet, "really enjoying dropping off the grid, totally disconnecting from the world."
Other performers included "Weird" Al Yankovic, Aziz Ansari, Justin Long, Ed Helms, Diablo Cody, and "Lost" co-creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, among others.
