'Parks and Recreation' Star in Talks to Host MTV Music Awards THR's Showtracker blog

MTV may be turning to a comedian starring in NBC's 'Parks and Recreation" to host the “MTV Music Awards” in June, reports the L.A. Times’ Showtracker blog.

Aziz Ansari, one of the starts of  "Parks and Recreation," is in final negotiations for the gig, Showtracker says.

The live event airs June 6 from Universal City’s Gibson Amphitheatre.
