Al Gough and Miles Millar, the creators of "Smallville," have signed a two-year overall deal with Sony Pictures TV, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
"We plan to hit the ground running with a broad range of projects aimed at both network and cable," Millar said. The pair were showrunners on "Smallville" for eight seasons before leaving in 2008.
Following that, they had a first-look feature deal at Disney, where they produced "Hannah Montana: The Movie," the film version of the hit Disney Channel program.
The first deal is for a television show about a superhero who hides his identity as a high school female rock star.
