With vampires taking over the entertainment industry, NBC is adding to the undead craze with a deal for "Zombies vs. Vampires," a spec script written by "Jake in Progress" creator Austin Winsberg, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.

NBC preemptively bought the project, which is called a "fun buddy cop procedural," the story says. It’s produced by Warner Bros. TV and McG’s studio-based Wonderland production banner, the article adds. The project, set in a world where zombies are controlled with medication, focuses on two cops, one of whom is secretly a vampire and who are both assigned to "zombie crime," the article says.

  1. Hopefully it will be better than Jake in Progress. As I recall the second season never aired.

  2. I enjoy the journalism relevancy of your blog and it will a sweet decent work of presenting the info.
