Here’s the Backstage Gossip at High-Profile HBO Show About….Backstage Gossip

The production of the pilot for a high-profile HBO show about backsage gossip now has its own high-profile backstage gossip, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The show  is HBO’s "Tilda," starring Diane Keaton and Ellen Page, which either is or isn’t somewhat based on Deadline.com.

Showrunner Cynthia Mort–who has a history of being in charge of troubled series, including "Roseanne"–reportedly clashed with director/producer Bill Condon, as well as Oscar winner Keaton.

An insider reported that Mort was very aggressive and her attitude was "my way or the highway."

HBO sided with Condon and Keaton. Mort retaliated with a scathing e-mail to the production crew. HBO was not pleased with the e-mail and that led to Mort’s exit, according to the report.
