CNN anchor John King reportedly received a reprimand from the person who runs the Turner Broadcasting System after the TV host lost his cool when his "magic wall" jammed, says the New York Post’s Page Six.
The meltdown, which drew the attention of Turner chief executive Phil Kent, happened while King was anchoring his 7 p.m. show just days before the midterm elections, the story says. The touch screen of the "magic wall" malfunctioned, prompting King to yell at studio operators, "I wish I brought a gun to work," the article says.
Although a CNN representative didn’t deny the meltdown, the rep denied that King was called into a meeting with Kent over it, the story says.
