One of the programs on cable this week has cracked the top ten of most-viewed programs EVER on cable, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
According to the article, the "Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings match up on ESPN's 'Monday Night Football' [on Dec. 20, 2010] was the most-watched primetime program on broadcast and cable, attracting 17.1 million viewers to a blow-out 40-14 victory by the Bears....The game ranks as the ninth most-viewed program in cable history (excluding breaking news), said Nielsen."
The story also notes that so far this season, "ESPN's 'MNF' is trending slightly higher than last season. Additionally, ESPN.com had 164 million page views, for a 12% bump, and 237 million minutes, up 24%, generated by NFL content on Sunday and Monday."
