Former Disney Chief Michael Eisner Teaming with Alums of 'Lost,' 'Northern Exposure' and 'Caprica' on New Show Deadline.com
Michael Eisner, the forrmer CEO of the Walt Disney Co. is teaming with alumni of "Lost," "Northern Exposure" and "Caprica" on a new TV project, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.
The show is a single-camera comedy about a 25-year old reporter in the style section of a newspaper who ends up on the obituary desk.
The project is written by Josh Brand of "Northern Exposure" and will be directed by Tucker Gates of "Lost" and star "Caprica" actress Alessandra Torresani as the reporter, the story says.
The 8- to 10-minute presentation will start filming on Monday, with the project being executive produced by Eisner, Brand, Gates, Steve Cohen and Noel Bright, the article adds.
The idea for the project, called "Circling the Drain," was first envisioned as a cable show, but the producers are now planning to shop it to a wider audience, the story says.
