MTV has ordered a pilot for a show starring advice columnist Dan Savage, Entertainment Weekly reports in its Inside TV blog.

Savage, an openly gay writer who is known for his straightforward, sometimes graphic, advice on sex and relationships, will deliver his advice to college campuses on the show.

Savage pens the advice column “Savage Love” and is the editorial director of a weekly Seattle publication, The Stranger, the story reports. MTV recently followed his “It Gets Better Project,” which aimed to help teenagers dealing with sexual orientation issues.
