The director of the film "Charlie’s Angels" may be tapped to direct NBC’s remake of "Wonder Woman," reports TVLine.com.

The film’s director, McG, currently serves as an executive producer on several television shows, including "Human Target" and "Chuck," the story notes. His production company is based at Warner Bros.

McG is reportedly the leading contender to direct the "Wonder Woman" pilot.

As previously reported, NBC recently greenlighted the "Wonder Woman" pilot from David E. Kelley.
