CBS has ordered a pilot for a new comedy series from a sitcom star and a veteran of “Seinfeld,” Entertainment Weekly reports.
The untitled project is a collaboration between comic Louis CK, the star of FX’s "Louie," and Spike Feresten, best known as a writer on "Seinfeld."
The concept is an ensemble piece focused on what’s described as a group of “young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times.”
The idea is not new — it is reportedly something Louis CK and Feresten concocted 13 years ago.
Five executive producers are attached, with Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein joining Louis CK and Feresten.
