Marking its second comedy pickup of the season, CBS has ordered a pilot for a comedy from a writer who worked on “Undeclared” at Fox before shifting to feature films, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The Muppets" and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” writer Nick Stoller received the green light for the ensemble comedy based on his own life experiences, the story reports. The untitled multicamera project tracks a young man who has his heart broken by his girlfriend, but still has to work near her at an advertising agency, the story says.

Stoller will write and direct the pilot, while also serving as an executive producer with Katherine Pope and Peter Chernin of Chernin Entertainment.

The project comes from Chernin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television, the piece adds. It is CBS’s second comedy pickup after the Jon Favreau project “Tweaked,” the story notes.
