‘Flashdance’ Actor Arrested in Domestic Violence Case

An actor best known for the 1983 hit film "Flashdance," who also has had a recurring role on CBS’s "NCIS," was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony domestic violence, reports TMZ.com. The actor is Michael Nouri.

Police received a call around 6 p.m. at Nouri’s Beverly Hills home, where Nouri had reportedly been fighting with his girlfriend. The woman reportedly had evidence of bruises.

Authorities were reportedly told that the dispute had escalated from a verbal argument to something physical. Nouri was arrested and held on $50,000 bond before being released early this morning.

Nouri has played Eli David, the father of Cote de Pablo’s character Ziva, on “NCIS,” and has appeared on a number of other TV shows, including “The O.C.” and “Damages.”
