Endemol Group, the independent television production company behind "Big Brother," has named executives to two key positions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Martha Brass was named chief operating officer and Edwin van Es was installed as chief financial officer, the story reports.

Additionally, Endemol Chief Executive Just Spee and President Tim Hincks appointed both van Es and Brass to a new management committee that will "focus on overseeing and supporting the business on a day-to-day basis," the company said.

Brass previously was managing director of international operations. She will continue to oversee emerging markets. She replaces Virginie Calmels, who resigned last week.

Van Es previously was the group finance director for Endemol, the piece adds.
