NBC has won a bidding war with Fox over the comedy project "Brenda Forever," with "The Office" actress Ellie Kemper in talks to play the lead, reports Deadline.com.
The project, which has received a pilot order, takes place in two times, tracking Brenda as a 13-year-old and as a 31-year-old. The script is from writers Andrew Leeds and David Lampson.
Kemper is one of the most sought-after actresses this development season, the story adds.
