One of the stars of the hit MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” is poised for a career resurgence as a soap opera star. TVGuide.com reports that "Jersey" alum Jenni "JWoww" Farley has been cast in the "One Life to Live" revival.

The soap opera ended its 43-year run on ABC in January 2012, but it is set to relaunch April 29 as a Web series from production company Prospect Park.

Farley has been cast in a recurring role as Nikki, "a bartender hired at the trendy nightclub Shelter, who can mix an Alabama Slammer as well as she can flirt with the customers," the story reports. "Club owner Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) knows that it’s best to keep an eye on Nikki, who is the nightclub’s newest barmaid, so things don’t get out of control."

The Online Network, which is distributing the soap along with a new version of "All My Children," will make the shows available for free on Hulu.com, Hulu Plus and iTunes.
