PBS will air a second season of a British period drama series. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that the broadcaster has secured rights to the sophomore run of "Mr. Selfridge."

The U.K.’s ITV renewed the drama in February. In the U.S. the show was a ratings hit for PBS, with nearly 15 million viewers watching during its first season, the story notes. The drama stars Jeremy Piven as department-store tycoon Harry Gordon Selfridge.

The second season, which takes place as World War I is about to break out, is already filming in the U.K.
