A well-known media company that creates content for television, feature films and digital platforms has changed its name and shaken things up in the executive offices.

The Los Angeles Times’ Company Town reports that BermanBraun, where founding partner Gail Berman left the firm earlier this year, changed its name to Whalerock Industries.

Lloyd Braun made the announcement Friday, and also tapped Andrew Mittman to run the company’s combined film and scripted TV divisions, which recently were merged, the story notes. Mittman has run its film unit since 2009.

Additionally, Jenna Glazier was promoted to senior vice president of television and film, while Gene Stein is leaving the company.

“This reorganization reflects our approach to development throughout the company," Braun said in a statement. "The traditional lines between media are increasingly blurred — particularly in film and television.”
