The star of a 2006 feature film is set to become the youngest-ever TV talk show host. The Los Angeles Times' Show Tracker reports that “Akeelah and the Bee” star Keke Palmer will earn that distinction when she starts a daily program for BET that’s slated to debut this summer.

The show built around Palmer, who is 20, is aimed at millennials and will focus on topics such as fashion and social media, the story notes. The actress currently has a six-episode arc on Showtime’s “Masters of Sex” and is starring in the upcoming horror movie “Animal.”

“I like to read quotes that touch on how I am feeling," Palmer said in a statement. "If I am dealing with confusion, I will read quotes about clarity and peace of mind. I started posting these quotes on my Twitter page and the fans responded so positively! I realized that many of them are dealing with similar issues and the quotes helped to open up a genuine dialogue between us."
